[Contest] BurnAware Premium Edition

Recoding data on discs (CD, DVD, Blue-ray) have made it feasible to carry our data and music with us everywhere. Although there are numerous free as well as paid tools available for Disc burning, not all are cost-effective and easy to use. BurnAware is one of my first choice for disc burning as it not only provides ease of use but also provides required range of features.

BurnAware is a full-fledged, easy-to-use disc burning software which allows writing all types of files such as digital photos, pictures, archives, images, documents, music and videos to CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. You can also create bootable or multisession discs, high-quality Audio CDs and Video DVDs; and even burn disc images, copy and backup discs using BurnAware.

Today we are going to talk about BurnAware Premium. It costs US $29.95 for 1 year free update or $89.95 for a lifetime license.

The interface is very simple and is roughly divided into 4 categories:

Data: Create a Data disc, Blu-Ray disc, Boot disc or Custom disc

Multimedia: Create an audio CD, MP3 disc or DVD-Video

Disc Images: Burn images, Copy disc to an image, Make Boot ISO or Multiburn discs

Utilities: Erase disc, Disc info, Verify disc, Copy disc or Data recovery

Any of the above functions can be launched from the main interface (also known as Welcome Screen). Each function opens in its own window and a separate process, while the main interface remains open in the background. The main benefit of this design is that you can run multiple functions at the same time.

Talking about burning a disc (see below) we can just drag-drop the files to the interface. Also you can select from the 8 pre-defined disc sizes.

The options for burning the disc are pre-set to automatic. However, you can choose to change per your requirement.
