Mother died

One day when I got back and ready to fire up the comps, the darn modem quit. Really sucked due to the fact our phone and internet uses the same modem.

Anyhow thank goodness for cell phones. So I called the cable people and scheduled a service call.

When the guy got here the next day, he comes in and asked how things are going.

"Well my modem died" I responded, "really sorry to hear that, what happened" he said. I don't no her damn lights just went out, and I have to say it really happened at a bad time. Just an inconvenience I didn't need this at the moment." I replied.

You should have seen his face, it turned from friendly to disgust in a heartbeat. Well he asked me to show him where the comps are located. When we got back to the comp room he again asked "so what seems to be the problem."

"like I said the modem died." all a sudden he started to grin. "Now whats so funny" I asked. He answered, " I have to say I was getting a little upset with you at first, I thought you said your mother died", and when you complained how inconvenient it was just did it for me." as he smiled.
