RE: What's the best Linux distribution?
I have only tried Ubuntu and still have the LTS version installed on a dual boot laptop I carry along when the need arises. I got to say, my user-experience as compared to windows 7 and xp is practically the same since I only do basic stuff like net browsing, email checks and some document reading when I'm on Ubuntu.

RE: What's the best Linux distribution?
First would be Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon.
Second would be Debian 6.0.3 LXDE.
Third would be Ubuntu.
