It's highly specialized - so far only about 1000 computer worldwide were infected - and these are primarily (middle-eastern) government PCs. It's was not made to collect credit card numbers or paypal account passwords, but for intelligence gathering activities. It was a product of a delibreate concentrated effort by a nation-state (or its defense contractor) to perform spying (perhaps sabotage) on a foreign government.

Ordinary folks have nothing to fear from it, there are far bigger online threats out there for the Average Joe.
