Is a Proxy really safe for anonymous browsing?

Ok you know, you just open your browser go in the settings, put the proxy IP address and port and bingo! You are safe! You are completely wrong dude. That’s the worst thing you can do. You only redirected your traffic (mainly HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS) to another server (the Proxy Server) and you think to be safe and anonymous.
