You received a message on Twitter? Someone tweet about you or about something that interests you? Twitter Alerts notifies you by sms, email or instant messenger.

No registration is required. All you need is your Twitter account and you can start using our notification service. The login data is not saved on their server. The application is using the new Twitter login method (OAuth).
There is no limit on adding keywords. You can add as many as you like.
The first 10 SMS alerts are free and for the rest you can pay online using PayPal. Alerts are sent every 20 minutes.

This service looks like a cheap version of TweetSwitch.com.
Twitteralerts can only notify you on Yahoo! messenger and you can’t even reply.
TweetSwitch goes much further. You can tweet and receive your tweets, DMs and mentions from gTalk, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM and email.
On TweetSwitch, you can even prioritise delivery and broadcast messages if you want to.
