Modify permissions and take ownership of files and folders in Windows 7

| January 4, 2010

Do you find, when you modify system files in Windows 7 or Vista that you have to change permissions a lot?

Then this tool is for you. This little utility will add a Take Ownership Context Menu Item to all files and folders. This menu option can be used to modify discretionary access control lists (DACLs). Or, in terms a normal person will understand, it will grant you permission to modify a file or folder.
